If you have not already done so, there are still two weeks left to book your place at the 2010 SURF Annual Conference, one of the key events in the Scottish regeneration calendar. The conference takes place over two days on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th March in Edinburgh.
The theme of this year's conference is on 'sustaining and reinventing community regeneration' in a time of economic inactivity, dramatic reductions in public spending and rising levels of unemployment and poverty. The focus is on linking people, projects, practice and research across the SURF network to explore the opportunities for practical, pro-active and cooperative responses to the threat of substantial degeneration across the board.
The format will include keynote presentations alongside interactive elements such as facilitated debates, panel sessions, electronic voting and a social/business networking event. The conference participants include (a-z by surname):
