Consultation Event on Tillicoultry Hub
Clackmannanshire Council held a daytime and evening event last week for current users of the community centre to find out how they would like to use the new Community Hub. Users who attended the meeting were in the main supportive of the potential use of the hub.

clackmanannewThe consultation will continue with existing groups and the wider community, as well as former users of the Family Centre. Residents are invited to email the Council on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. There will be a further event at the end of August, after the school holidays, and the chance for groups to tour the former Family Centre building, which is to be used for the Hub.

Councillor Eddie Carrick, portfolio holder for sustainability, said:
"We will be taking on board residents' suggestions to hold a further event after the holidays and tours of the building: this is an ongoing consultation and we want everyone to be able to participate.

"The Community Centre will stay open until the new Hub opens, so existing and potential groups should take this chance to let us know what facilities they would like to see in the new Hub. I would welcome new community groups' suggestions on how they might use the Hub to provide services for local residents."
