Servite Kirkton Kids Club Boost |
Servite Housing Association presented a cheque for £50 to the Kirkton Kids Club at Kirkton Community Centre in Dundee recently.
The boost in funds will help with running costs for the various activities carried out by the Club, which include a "bake and eat" session - with shortbread at the top of the list - mixed sports and a pond dipping outing.
Jacky Nicoll, Convenor of the Local Management Group, said that the donation would be put to good use, adding:
"It's great to see the kids learning things together. It's an excellent way to get them involved in social interaction."
David Mitchell, Servite Housing Officer, added:
"One of the good things is seeing the kids enjoying themselves in a safe and entertaining environment. They're obviously having a lot of fun."
