West Highland Housing Association is a charitable housing association based in Oban.  The organisation has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality affordable and innovative housing in the area.

We require a Housing Officer for a period of one year to cover a maternity leave.  You will require a proven background of relevant skills, experience and IT competence.  A key part of the job is to work flexibly as part of a small office team.

The Housing Officer will provide high quality housing management services to our existing tenants and to people on the Home Argyll waiting list. 

The Association is looking for someone with experience in housing management and with good ability in arrears management.

Access to a car and possession of a full current driving licence are essential as is the ability to stay away overnight occasionally.

An enhanced disclosure check will be carried out for the successful candidate.

The Association will consider some assistance with accommodation and will also consider flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

The post will be based at the Association's office in Crannog Lane and Office hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4pm Friday.

We are looking for Board members who are able to share our values, contribute at a strategic level, and demonstrate a passion to support people and develop communities in Leith/North Edinburgh. You will have a good understanding of the complex and changing environment in which we operate and be comfortable working within a dedicated and established group.

The successful applicants will be available on average 1.5 days a month to attend monthly Board meeting (held during early evening), events and training.
