Salary Range: £25,165 - £30,957

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a nine to twelve month fixed term contract within the Policy Team at the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.

As a Policy Advisor, you will work at the hub of the SFHA, liaising closely with colleagues to provide a core service to the SFHA Membership, who expect high quality lobbying, representation and campaigning on their behalf. Members also expect to receive regular information from us about policy and political developments, and to see these reflected in all of our one day events and residential conferences. Many members also want to receive practical advice and support on a range of issues. There is an expectation that the job-holder will be willing and able to contribute to some events. You will work closely with the Policy Director, Policy Managers, Press and Public Affairs Manager and Events Team advising on policy and practice areas, with a particular focus onr Welfare Reform.

Secondment opportunities will be considered for this post.
