3rd National Planning Framework

The Scottish Government has launched a consultation on the 3rd National Planning Framework, which sets out priorities for spatial development in Scotland over the next 30 years. One issue of concern for housing associations interested in developing community renewables schemes as there are proposals to increase the distance between wind turbines and centres of population, the SFHA will be responding to this consultation and would welcome input from members.

SORP Invitation to Comment

For accounting periods commencing on or after 1 January 2015, housing associations will be required to prepare accounts under a new international-style format in accordance with the financial reporting Standard 102 (the FRS) published by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) on 14 March 2013.
